FLOURISHING REMNANTS - This body of works depicts a series of greenhouses that are slowly being reclaimed by what they once held over a long period of time. The artist was drawn to this subject matter for both its physical appearance and the power of the greenhouse. Beyond the greenhouse’s ability to grow plants and food, the idea that its purpose, and that of the artist's studio, is to nurture something small and vulnerable (seeds and ideas) until they are strong enough to survive on their own in the world.
